Please read the instructions before the practice Practice Yoga Nidra under the divine guidance of Dr. Sri Ramachandra Guruji. “Nidra” is a Sanskrit word meaning “sleep”. There are two types of sleep – One is “the body’s sleep” and the other one is “the Mind’s sleep”. Yoga Nidra is the sleep with complete awareness. Saints or Yogis follow this Yoga Nidra or Mind’s sleep whereas common people do rely on the body’s sleep not knowing about this science. Brain’s frequency drops from Beta to Alpha during Yoganidra and Hence the Mind receives the highest amount of Cosmic energy. Half an hour of Yoga Nidra practice is equivalent to 3 hours of natural sleep. Caution: Don’t listen to this recording while walking, driving, or in a place where you need to be fully awake and attentive. Steps to be followed in practicing Yoga Nidra. Pick an undisturbed 30 minutes from your day (Afternoon before lunch and before dinner at Late evening are ideal times for practicing Yoga Nidra)
- Select a calm and quiet place with no disturbances.
- If you are practicing it in a room, then dim down the lights and make sure that the room has a good ventilation system.
- Using a recliner or 45 degrees lying down is an ideal posture to practice Yoga Nidra.
- Use a yoga mat or a bedspread while practicing it in a complete lying down position.
- Switch off your mobiles or put it in flight mode.
- Use headphones or earphones for maximum effect of the track.
- Have a glass of water after the practice.
- In Yoga Nidra, all the Physical and Mental ailments are cured fast and a quick rejuvenation happens for both body and mind. Practicing Yoga Nidra in a disciplined and systematic manner would fetch you the maximum results.
